On 29 September 2017, flight LQ9509 safely landed at Palau Koror International Airport, which indicates the maiden flight of Lanmei Airlines (Cambodia) Co.,Ltd (“Lanmei Airlines”) has successfully completed and its commercial operation commenced.
The maiden flight of Lanmei Airlines by A320 is from Sihanoukville to Macau and to Palau. The part from Macau to Palau boarded 144 passengers and 177 ones from Macau to Sihanoukville.
To commemorate this special day, Lanmei Airlines prepared carefully for its maiden flight celebration. Lanmei Airlines’ staff presented customized postcard, scarf, free SIM card etc. to each passenger at three terminals. Its cabin crew continued surprises in the sky: free flight tickets, stewardess scarves, aircraft models, customized blankets and USB flash discs were lucky draws. Each time a lucky passenger won, the whole cabin turned into a sea of joy.
The flight brings more choices and great convenience for passengers travelling on these spots. Every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, LQ502 takes off from Sihanoukville at 08:45 and lands at Macau at 12:25; LQ9509 takes off from Macau at 13:15 and lands at Koror at 18:15; and LQ9508 takes off from Palau at 19:15 and lands at Macau at 22:15; LQ503 takes off from Macau at 23:00 and lands at Sihanoukville at 00:45. Lanmei Airlines is a local Cambodia airline company registered on 7 March 2016, and obtained preparation permit on June 14th in the same year. In January of 2017, preparation work commenced and granted EOA on March 15th and AOC on August 15th.
